Translation of the meanings Ayah: (22) Surah: An-Nisā’
وَلَا تَنْكِحُوْا مَا نَكَحَ اٰبَآؤُكُمْ مِّنَ النِّسَآءِ اِلَّا مَا قَدْ سَلَفَ ؕ— اِنَّهٗ كَانَ فَاحِشَةً وَّمَقْتًا ؕ— وَسَآءَ سَبِیْلًا ۟۠
முன்னர் நடந்த (திருமணத்)தைத் தவிர, (இஸ்லாம் வந்த பின்னர்) உங்கள் தந்தைகள் மணமுடித்தவர்களை நீங்கள் மணமுடிக்காதீர்கள். நிச்சயமாக இது மானக்கேடானதாகவும், வெறுக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் இருக்கிறது, இன்னும் இது கெட்ட பழக்கமாகும்.
