Translation of the meanings Ayah: (42) Surah: Al-An‘ām
وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَاۤ اِلٰۤی اُمَمٍ مِّنْ قَبْلِكَ فَاَخَذْنٰهُمْ بِالْبَاْسَآءِ وَالضَّرَّآءِ لَعَلَّهُمْ یَتَضَرَّعُوْنَ ۟
(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் பல சமுதாயங்களுக்கு (தூதர்களை) திட்டவட்டமாக அனுப்பினோம். (அவர்கள் நிராகரித்து விடவே) அவர்கள் (நமக்கு முன்) பணிவதற்காக வறுமை இன்னும் நோயின் மூலம் அவர்களைப் பிடித்தோம்.
