Translation of the meanings Ayah: (171) Surah: Al-A‘rāf
وَاِذْ نَتَقْنَا الْجَبَلَ فَوْقَهُمْ كَاَنَّهٗ ظُلَّةٌ وَّظَنُّوْۤا اَنَّهٗ وَاقِعٌ بِهِمْ ۚ— خُذُوْا مَاۤ اٰتَیْنٰكُمْ بِقُوَّةٍ وَّاذْكُرُوْا مَا فِیْهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَتَّقُوْنَ ۟۠
அவர்களுக்கு மேல் மலையை - அது நிழலிடும் மேகத்தைப் போன்று - பிடுங்கி (நிறுத்தி)ய சமயத்தை நினைவு கூருவீராக. நிச்சயமாக அது அவர்கள் மீது விழுந்துவிடும் என்று எண்ணினர். “நீங்கள் (அல்லாஹ்வை) அஞ்சுவதற்காக நாம் உங்களுக்குக் கொடுத்ததைப் பலமாகப் பிடியுங்கள்; அதிலுள்ளவற்றை நினைவு கூறுங்கள்” (என்று நாம் அவர்களிடம் வாக்குறுதி எடுத்தோம்).
