Translation of the meanings Ayah: (114) Surah: At-Tawbah
وَمَا كَانَ اسْتِغْفَارُ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ لِاَبِیْهِ اِلَّا عَنْ مَّوْعِدَةٍ وَّعَدَهَاۤ اِیَّاهُ ۚ— فَلَمَّا تَبَیَّنَ لَهٗۤ اَنَّهٗ عَدُوٌّ لِّلّٰهِ تَبَرَّاَ مِنْهُ ؕ— اِنَّ اِبْرٰهِیْمَ لَاَوَّاهٌ حَلِیْمٌ ۟
(நபி) இப்ராஹீம் தன் தந்தைக்காக மன்னிப்புக் கோரியது, அவர் அவருக்கு வாக்களித்த வாக்குறுதியை முன்னிட்டே தவிர (வேறு காரணத்திற்காக) இருக்கவில்லை. நிச்சயமாக அல்லாஹ்விற்கு அவர் எதிரி என அவருக்குத் தெளிவானபோது அவரிலிருந்து அவர் விலகிக்கொண்டார். நிச்சயமாக இப்ராஹீம் அதிகம் பிரார்த்திப்பவர், பெரும் சகிப்பாளர்.
