Sûretu'l-Humezeh

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Arkadan çekiştirip duran, kaş göz hareketleriyle alay eden her kişinin vay haline!

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Mal toplayıp, onu tekrar tekrar sayan.

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
Malının kendisini ebedi kılacağını zanneder.

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
Hayır! Andolsun ki o, Hutâme’ye atılacaktır.

وَمَآ أَدۡرَىٰكَ مَا ٱلۡحُطَمَةُ
Hutâme’nin ne olduğunu sen ne bileceksin?

نَارُ ٱللَّهِ ٱلۡمُوقَدَةُ
O, Allah'ın tutuşturulmuş ateşidir.

ٱلَّتِي تَطَّلِعُ عَلَى ٱلۡأَفۡـِٔدَةِ
Öyle ki, o kalplere kadar işler.

إِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِم مُّؤۡصَدَةٞ
Şüphe yok ki, bu onların üzerilerine kapatılmıştır.
