Sûretu'l-Humezeh

Ayah: 1

وَيۡلٞ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٖ لُّمَزَةٍ
Arkadan çekiştirip duran, kaş göz hareketleriyle alay eden her kişinin vay haline!

ٱلَّذِي جَمَعَ مَالٗا وَعَدَّدَهُۥ
Mal toplayıp, onu tekrar tekrar sayan,

يَحۡسَبُ أَنَّ مَالَهُۥٓ أَخۡلَدَهُۥ
Zannediyor ki malı kendisini kalıcı kılacak.

كَلَّاۖ لَيُنۢبَذَنَّ فِي ٱلۡحُطَمَةِ
Hayır! Kesinlikle o Hutame'ye atılacak.
