Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-A‘lā   Ayah:

Sûretu'l-Â'lâ

Ayah: 1

سَبِّحِ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّكَ ٱلۡأَعۡلَى
Yüce Rabbinin adını tesbih (ve takdis) et.

Ayah: 2

ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
Yaratıp düzene koyan,

Ayah: 3

وَٱلَّذِي قَدَّرَ فَهَدَىٰ
takdir edip yol gösteren,

Ayah: 4

وَٱلَّذِيٓ أَخۡرَجَ ٱلۡمَرۡعَىٰ
(topraktan) yeşil otu çıkarıp

Ayah: 5

فَجَعَلَهُۥ غُثَآءً أَحۡوَىٰ
sonra da onu kapkara bir sel artığına çeviren.

Ayah: 6

سَنُقۡرِئُكَ فَلَا تَنسَىٰٓ
Sana (Kur'an'ı) okutacağız; sen hiç unutmayacaksın.

Ayah: 7

إِلَّا مَا شَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ إِنَّهُۥ يَعۡلَمُ ٱلۡجَهۡرَ وَمَا يَخۡفَىٰ
Artık Allah'ın dilediği hariç, şüphesiz Allah, açığı ve gizleneni bilir.

Ayah: 8

وَنُيَسِّرُكَ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
Seni en kolaya muvaffak kılacağız.

فَذَكِّرۡ إِن نَّفَعَتِ ٱلذِّكۡرَىٰ
O halde eğer öğüt fayda verirse öğüt ver.

سَيَذَّكَّرُ مَن يَخۡشَىٰ
(Allah'tan) korkan öğütten yararlanacak.

Ayah: 11

وَيَتَجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
Kötü kimse ise öğütten kaçınır.

ٱلَّذِي يَصۡلَى ٱلنَّارَ ٱلۡكُبۡرَىٰ
En büyük ateşe girecek olan

ثُمَّ لَا يَمُوتُ فِيهَا وَلَا يَحۡيَىٰ
sonra o, ateşte ne ölür ne de yaşar.

قَدۡ أَفۡلَحَ مَن تَزَكَّىٰ
Temizlenen, kimse kuşkusuz kurtuluşa ermiştir.

وَذَكَرَ ٱسۡمَ رَبِّهِۦ فَصَلَّىٰ
Rabbinin adını anıp O'na kulluk eden.

بَلۡ تُؤۡثِرُونَ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا
Fakat siz (ey insanlar!) dünya hayatını tercih ediyorsunuz.

وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةُ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰٓ
Ahiret daha hayırlı ve daha devamlı olduğu halde.

إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَفِي ٱلصُّحُفِ ٱلۡأُولَىٰ
Şüphesiz bu (anlatılanlar), önceki kitaplarda,

صُحُفِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَمُوسَىٰ
İbrahim ve Musa'nın kitaplarında da vardır.
