Allāhu ni Aṣíwájú tí ẹ̀dá ní bùkátà sí níbi jíjọ́sìn fún Un àti títọrọ oore ní ọ̀dọ̀ Rẹ̀, tí Òun kò sì ní bùkátà sí wọn ní ọ̀nà kan kan.

وَلَمۡ يَكُن لَّهُۥ كُفُوًا أَحَدُۢ

Kò sì sí ẹnì kan kan tí ó jọ Ọ́.”¹

1. Ẹ kíyè sí i! Àwọn kan máa ń ké “Ƙul huwa-llāhu” mẹ́ta fún òkú mùsùlùmí. Nígbà mìíràn, wọ́n lè ké òdidi al-Ƙur’ān fún un. Ìwọ̀nyí kò tọ sunnah rárá. Sūrah al-Haṣr; 59:10 ti fún wa ní àdúà tó jẹmọ́ òkú àti alààyè.
Síwájú sí i, ìtúmọ̀ “Ọlọ́hun” ni “Olúwa gbogbo ayé àti ọ̀run àti ohun tó wà láààrin méjèèjì”. Nínú èdè al-Ƙur’ān, èyí ni a mọ̀ sí “rọbbu-ssamọ̄wāt wal-’ard wa mọ̄ baenahumọ̄”. Ìdí nìyí tí a ò fi túmọ̀ “Allāhu” sí “Ọlọ́hun”. Nínú èdè Yorùbá, kò fẹ́ẹ̀ sí ìtúmọ̀ tí a fọkàn balẹ̀ sí fún ọ̀rọ̀-orúkọ ńlá náà “Allāhu” àfi lílo ọ̀rọ̀-orúkọ kan èyí tí àwọn Yorùbá máa ń lò ní ọjọ́un àná fún “Ọlọ́hun”. Ṣíṣe bẹ́ẹ̀ sí máa mú àríyànjiyàn lọ́wọ́. Nítorí náà, “Allāhu” ni “Allāhu”.
