وَقَالُواْ نَحۡنُ أَكۡثَرُ أَمۡوَٰلٗا وَأَوۡلَٰدٗا وَمَا نَحۡنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ

(35) And they^[1235] said, "We are more [than the believers] in wealth and children, and we are not to be punished."

[1235]- The affluent ones in general or the people of Makkah specifically.
