فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ بِجُنُودِهِۦ فَغَشِيَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡيَمِّ مَا غَشِيَهُمۡ
78. Then Pharaoh pursued them with his hosts, and there covered them from the sea what covered them [12].
[12]. I.e., not only drowning in water but other things which are only known to Allāh such as pain, regret, etc.
