وَلَوۡلَآ أَن يَكُونَ ٱلنَّاسُ أُمَّةٗ وَٰحِدَةٗ لَّجَعَلۡنَا لِمَن يَكۡفُرُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ لِبُيُوتِهِمۡ سُقُفٗا مِّن فِضَّةٖ وَمَعَارِجَ عَلَيۡهَا يَظۡهَرُونَ
33. Were it not that all people would become one community [10], We would have made for those who disbelieve in the Most Compassionate (Allāh), for their houses, ceilings out of silver and elevators on which they mount.
[10]. I.e., all deniers desiring only the life of this world and assuming that Allah’s generosity to them is a sign of His approval.
