حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا جَآءَنَا قَالَ يَٰلَيۡتَ بَيۡنِي وَبَيۡنَكَ بُعۡدَ ٱلۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ فَبِئۡسَ ٱلۡقَرِينُ
38. Until when he comes to Us, he will say (to his appointed devil): "Would that between me and you the distance of the two easts [13]!" How wretched then is the companion.
[13] This is understood also to mean the east and west; or the rising of the sun and moon; or the rising of the sun in summer and winter.
