وَلَقَدْ اَنْذَرَهُمْ بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا بِالنُّذُرِ ۟

لوط آنان را از کیفر [سخت] ما بیم داد؛ ولی آنان در برابر هشدار‌ها به مجادله [و ستیز] برخاستند.
