وَكَذَٰلِكَ مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ يَتَبَوَّأُ مِنۡهَا حَيۡثُ يَشَآءُۚ نُصِيبُ بِرَحۡمَتِنَا مَن نَّشَآءُۖ وَلَا نُضِيعُ أَجۡرَ ٱلۡمُحۡسِنِينَ
56. Thus did We establish Joseph in the land (of Egypt) - he had mastery in it wherever he liked. We bestow Our mercy on whom We will, and We never waste the reward of the good-doers [17].
[17]. Allāh tells us here the lesson to be learned and heeded from Joseph’s life.
