كٓهيعٓصٓ

Ayah: 2

ذِكۡرُ رَحۡمَتِ رَبِّكَ عَبۡدَهُۥ زَكَرِيَّآ
Esto es un relato de la misericordia que tuvo tu Señor con Su siervo Zacarías,

Ayah: 3

إِذۡ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥ نِدَآءً خَفِيّٗا
cuando invocó a su Señor en secreto.

Ayah: 4

قَالَ رَبِّ إِنِّي وَهَنَ ٱلۡعَظۡمُ مِنِّي وَٱشۡتَعَلَ ٱلرَّأۡسُ شَيۡبٗا وَلَمۡ أَكُنۢ بِدُعَآئِكَ رَبِّ شَقِيّٗا
Dijo: "¡Señor mío! Mis huesos se han debilitado y mi cabeza se ha llenado de canas. Mis ruegos nunca fueron rechazados.

Ayah: 5

وَإِنِّي خِفۡتُ ٱلۡمَوَٰلِيَ مِن وَرَآءِي وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا فَهَبۡ لِي مِن لَّدُنكَ وَلِيّٗا
Temo por [la fe de] mi familia tras mi muerte, pues mi mujer siempre ha sido estéril. Concédeme un hijo

Ayah: 6

يَرِثُنِي وَيَرِثُ مِنۡ ءَالِ يَعۡقُوبَۖ وَٱجۡعَلۡهُ رَبِّ رَضِيّٗا
que me suceda y herede [la profecía] de la familia de Jacob. ¡Oh, Señor mío! Hazlo uno de aquellos con los que Tú estás complacido".

Ayah: 7

يَٰزَكَرِيَّآ إِنَّا نُبَشِّرُكَ بِغُلَٰمٍ ٱسۡمُهُۥ يَحۡيَىٰ لَمۡ نَجۡعَل لَّهُۥ مِن قَبۡلُ سَمِيّٗا
[Le dijo un ángel:] "¡Oh, Zacarías! Te albricio con un hijo al que pondrás por nombre Juan. Nadie ha sido llamado así antes que él".
Juan: Literalmente Yajia يّحِي en idioma árabe.

Ayah: 8

قَالَ رَبِّ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَٰمٞ وَكَانَتِ ٱمۡرَأَتِي عَاقِرٗا وَقَدۡ بَلَغۡتُ مِنَ ٱلۡكِبَرِ عِتِيّٗا
Dijo: "¡Señor mío! ¿Cómo he de tener un hijo si mi mujer es estéril y yo he llegado ya a la vejez extrema?"

Ayah: 9

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكَ قَالَ رَبُّكَ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٞ وَقَدۡ خَلَقۡتُكَ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ تَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا
Dijo [el ángel]: "Así será, pues tu Señor dice: ‘Eso es fácil para Mí, te he creado antes, cuando no existías’".

Ayah: 10

قَالَ رَبِّ ٱجۡعَل لِّيٓ ءَايَةٗۖ قَالَ ءَايَتُكَ أَلَّا تُكَلِّمَ ٱلنَّاسَ ثَلَٰثَ لَيَالٖ سَوِيّٗا
Dijo [Zacarías]: "¡Señor mío! Concédeme una señal [de que mi esposa quedará embarazada]". Dijo: "Tu señal será que no podrás hablar a la gente durante tres noches seguidas, a pesar de no tener impedimento".
A pesar de que no tenía ningún defecto o enfermedad, durante esos días y noches no podía hablar con la gente, excepto por señas, aunque sí podía pronunciar alabanzas a su Señor. Ver Corán 3:41.

Ayah: 11

فَخَرَجَ عَلَىٰ قَوۡمِهِۦ مِنَ ٱلۡمِحۡرَابِ فَأَوۡحَىٰٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡ أَن سَبِّحُواْ بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا
[Cumplida la señal, Zacarías] salió del oratorio hacia su gente [cuando su mujer quedó embarazada] y les indicó por señas que debían glorificar a Dios por la mañana y por la tarde.

Ayah: 12

يَٰيَحۡيَىٰ خُذِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ بِقُوَّةٖۖ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ ٱلۡحُكۡمَ صَبِيّٗا
[Cuando su hijo alcanzó la pubertad, le dije:] "¡Oh, Juan! Aférrate al Libro con firmeza". Le concedí sabiduría desde su infancia,
Aférrate al Libro: La Tora.

Ayah: 13

وَحَنَانٗا مِّن لَّدُنَّا وَزَكَوٰةٗۖ وَكَانَ تَقِيّٗا
que fuera compasivo, puro y piadoso,

وَبَرَّۢا بِوَٰلِدَيۡهِ وَلَمۡ يَكُن جَبَّارًا عَصِيّٗا
honraba a sus padres, no era soberbio ni desobediente.

Ayah: 15

وَسَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡهِ يَوۡمَ وُلِدَ وَيَوۡمَ يَمُوتُ وَيَوۡمَ يُبۡعَثُ حَيّٗا
La paz fue con él el día que nació, el día que falleció y será con él el día que sea resucitado.

Ayah: 16

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مَرۡيَمَ إِذِ ٱنتَبَذَتۡ مِنۡ أَهۡلِهَا مَكَانٗا شَرۡقِيّٗا
Recuerda [¡oh, Mujámmad!] la historia de María que se menciona en el libro, cuando se apartó de su familia para retirarse a un lugar al este

Ayah: 17

فَٱتَّخَذَتۡ مِن دُونِهِمۡ حِجَابٗا فَأَرۡسَلۡنَآ إِلَيۡهَا رُوحَنَا فَتَمَثَّلَ لَهَا بَشَرٗا سَوِيّٗا
y puso un velo para apartarse de la vista de los hombres de su pueblo. Entonces le envié a Mi ángel, quien se le presentó con forma humana.

Ayah: 18

قَالَتۡ إِنِّيٓ أَعُوذُ بِٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ مِنكَ إِن كُنتَ تَقِيّٗا
Ella dijo: "Me refugio en el Compasivo de ti, [apártate de aquí] si es que tienes temor de Dios".

Ayah: 19

قَالَ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ رَسُولُ رَبِّكِ لِأَهَبَ لَكِ غُلَٰمٗا زَكِيّٗا
Le dijo: "Soy un enviado de tu Señor para agraciarte con un hijo puro".

Ayah: 20

قَالَتۡ أَنَّىٰ يَكُونُ لِي غُلَٰمٞ وَلَمۡ يَمۡسَسۡنِي بَشَرٞ وَلَمۡ أَكُ بَغِيّٗا
Ella dijo: "¿Cómo voy a tener un hijo si no me ha tocado ningún hombre ni he fornicado?"

Ayah: 21

قَالَ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ هُوَ عَلَيَّ هَيِّنٞۖ وَلِنَجۡعَلَهُۥٓ ءَايَةٗ لِّلنَّاسِ وَرَحۡمَةٗ مِّنَّاۚ وَكَانَ أَمۡرٗا مَّقۡضِيّٗا
Le dijo [el ángel]: "Así será, pues tu Señor dice: ‘Eso es fácil para Mí. Lo convertiré [a tu hijo] en un milagro y una misericordia para la humanidad. Es un asunto decidido’".

Ayah: 22

۞ فَحَمَلَتۡهُ فَٱنتَبَذَتۡ بِهِۦ مَكَانٗا قَصِيّٗا
Cuando se sintió embarazada, decidió retirarse a un lugar apartado.

Ayah: 23

فَأَجَآءَهَا ٱلۡمَخَاضُ إِلَىٰ جِذۡعِ ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ قَالَتۡ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي مِتُّ قَبۡلَ هَٰذَا وَكُنتُ نَسۡيٗا مَّنسِيّٗا
Los dolores de parto la llevaron junto al tronco de una palmera. Exclamó: "Preferiría haber muerto antes que esto, y así hubiera sido olvidada completamente".

Ayah: 24

فَنَادَىٰهَا مِن تَحۡتِهَآ أَلَّا تَحۡزَنِي قَدۡ جَعَلَ رَبُّكِ تَحۡتَكِ سَرِيّٗا
Entonces [el ángel] la llamó desde abajo [del valle]: "No estés triste, tu Señor ha hecho fluir debajo de ti un arroyo.

Ayah: 25

وَهُزِّيٓ إِلَيۡكِ بِجِذۡعِ ٱلنَّخۡلَةِ تُسَٰقِطۡ عَلَيۡكِ رُطَبٗا جَنِيّٗا
Sacude el tronco de la palmera y caerán sobre ti dátiles frescos.

Ayah: 26

فَكُلِي وَٱشۡرَبِي وَقَرِّي عَيۡنٗاۖ فَإِمَّا تَرَيِنَّ مِنَ ٱلۡبَشَرِ أَحَدٗا فَقُولِيٓ إِنِّي نَذَرۡتُ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ صَوۡمٗا فَلَنۡ أُكَلِّمَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ إِنسِيّٗا
Come, bebe y anímate. Pero cuando veas a alguien dile: ‘He realizado un voto de silencio al Compasivo, y no hablaré hoy con ninguna persona’".

Ayah: 27

فَأَتَتۡ بِهِۦ قَوۡمَهَا تَحۡمِلُهُۥۖ قَالُواْ يَٰمَرۡيَمُ لَقَدۡ جِئۡتِ شَيۡـٔٗا فَرِيّٗا
Se presentó ante su pueblo llevándolo en brazos [a Jesús]. Le dijeron: "¡Oh, María! Has hecho algo abominable.

Ayah: 28

يَٰٓأُخۡتَ هَٰرُونَ مَا كَانَ أَبُوكِ ٱمۡرَأَ سَوۡءٖ وَمَا كَانَتۡ أُمُّكِ بَغِيّٗا
¡Tú desciendes de Aarón! Tu padre no era un hombre deshonesto ni tu madre una fornicadora".

Ayah: 29

فَأَشَارَتۡ إِلَيۡهِۖ قَالُواْ كَيۡفَ نُكَلِّمُ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلۡمَهۡدِ صَبِيّٗا
Ella lo señaló [al niño], y entonces le dijeron: "¿Cómo vamos a hablar con un niño que aún está en la cuna?"

Ayah: 30

قَالَ إِنِّي عَبۡدُ ٱللَّهِ ءَاتَىٰنِيَ ٱلۡكِتَٰبَ وَجَعَلَنِي نَبِيّٗا
Entonces [Jesús] habló: "Soy un siervo de Dios, Él me revelará el Libro y hará de mí un Profeta.

Ayah: 31

وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيۡنَ مَا كُنتُ وَأَوۡصَٰنِي بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ مَا دُمۡتُ حَيّٗا
Seré bendecido dondequiera que me encuentre, y me ha encomendado hacer la oración, dar caridad mientras viva,

Ayah: 32

وَبَرَّۢا بِوَٰلِدَتِي وَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡنِي جَبَّارٗا شَقِيّٗا
honrar a mi madre, y no ser arrogante ni insolente.

Ayah: 33

وَٱلسَّلَٰمُ عَلَيَّ يَوۡمَ وُلِدتُّ وَيَوۡمَ أَمُوتُ وَيَوۡمَ أُبۡعَثُ حَيّٗا
La paz fue conmigo el día que nací, el día que muera y el día que sea resucitado".
el día que muera: En la creencia islámica, Jesús no murió crucificado en la cruz, sino que fue elevado a los cielos, de donde descenderá al final de los tiempos, y será entonces cuando muera.

el día que sea resucitado: Para el Día del Juicio Final.

Ayah: 34

ذَٰلِكَ عِيسَى ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَۖ قَوۡلَ ٱلۡحَقِّ ٱلَّذِي فِيهِ يَمۡتَرُونَ
Ese es Jesús, hijo de María, la verdad sobre la que ellos discuten.

Ayah: 35

مَا كَانَ لِلَّهِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ مِن وَلَدٖۖ سُبۡحَٰنَهُۥٓۚ إِذَا قَضَىٰٓ أَمۡرٗا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُۥ كُن فَيَكُونُ
No es propio de Dios tener un hijo. ¡Glorificado sea! Cuando decide algo dice: "¡Sé!", y es.

Ayah: 36

وَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ رَبِّي وَرَبُّكُمۡ فَٱعۡبُدُوهُۚ هَٰذَا صِرَٰطٞ مُّسۡتَقِيمٞ
[Dijo Jesús:] "Dios es mi Señor y el de ustedes, ¡adórenlo! Ese es el sendero recto".

Ayah: 37

فَٱخۡتَلَفَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ مِنۢ بَيۡنِهِمۡۖ فَوَيۡلٞ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ مِن مَّشۡهَدِ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٍ
Pero discreparon las sectas sobre él. ¡Cuán desdichados serán ese día los que negaron la verdad cuando comparezcan [ante Dios] en un día terrible!

Ayah: 38

أَسۡمِعۡ بِهِمۡ وَأَبۡصِرۡ يَوۡمَ يَأۡتُونَنَا لَٰكِنِ ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ فِي ضَلَٰلٖ مُّبِينٖ
Oirán y verán muy bien [su error] el día que comparezcan ante Mí. Pero los que cometen injusticias [atribuyendo un hijo a Dios] en esta vida están evidentemente extraviados.

Ayah: 39

وَأَنذِرۡهُمۡ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡحَسۡرَةِ إِذۡ قُضِيَ ٱلۡأَمۡرُ وَهُمۡ فِي غَفۡلَةٖ وَهُمۡ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ
Adviérteles acerca del día que se lamenten, cuando la sentencia sea cumplida. Pero ellos, a pesar de esto, siguen indiferentes y no creen.
día que se lamenten: El Día del Juicio Final. Se le denomina así por las fuertes lamentaciones y el arrepentimiento que sobrevendrán a las criaturas en ese día. Los incrédulos lamentarán no haber creído.

Ayah: 40

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَرِثُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَمَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا وَإِلَيۡنَا يُرۡجَعُونَ
Yo heredaré la Tierra y a quienes están sobre ella. Ante mí regresarán.

Ayah: 41

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٗا نَّبِيًّا
Nárrales [¡oh, Mujámmad!] la historia de Abraham que se menciona en el Libro. Era un hombre veraz, un Profeta.

Ayah: 42

إِذۡ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ يَٰٓأَبَتِ لِمَ تَعۡبُدُ مَا لَا يَسۡمَعُ وَلَا يُبۡصِرُ وَلَا يُغۡنِي عَنكَ شَيۡـٔٗا
Cuando [Abraham] dijo a su padre: "¡Oh, padre mío! ¿Por qué adoras a lo que no oye ni ve ni puede beneficiarte en absoluto?
su padre: El padre de Abraham fabricaba ídolos, los cuales vendía y adoraba.

Ayah: 43

يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّي قَدۡ جَآءَنِي مِنَ ٱلۡعِلۡمِ مَا لَمۡ يَأۡتِكَ فَٱتَّبِعۡنِيٓ أَهۡدِكَ صِرَٰطٗا سَوِيّٗا
¡Oh, padre mío! Se me ha revelado un conocimiento que tú no tienes. Sígueme, y te guiaré por el sendero recto.

Ayah: 44

يَٰٓأَبَتِ لَا تَعۡبُدِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَۖ إِنَّ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنَ كَانَ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَصِيّٗا
¡Oh, padre mío! No adores al demonio, porque el demonio fue desobediente con el Compasivo.

Ayah: 45

يَٰٓأَبَتِ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ أَن يَمَسَّكَ عَذَابٞ مِّنَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ فَتَكُونَ لِلشَّيۡطَٰنِ وَلِيّٗا
¡Oh, padre mío! Temo que te alcance un castigo del Compasivo y seas de los que acompañen al demonio [al Infierno]".

Ayah: 46

قَالَ أَرَاغِبٌ أَنتَ عَنۡ ءَالِهَتِي يَٰٓإِبۡرَٰهِيمُۖ لَئِن لَّمۡ تَنتَهِ لَأَرۡجُمَنَّكَۖ وَٱهۡجُرۡنِي مَلِيّٗا
Dijo [su padre]: "¡Oh, Abraham! ¿Acaso rechazas a mis ídolos? Si no dejas de hacerlo te lapidaré. Aléjate de mí por buen tiempo".

Ayah: 47

قَالَ سَلَٰمٌ عَلَيۡكَۖ سَأَسۡتَغۡفِرُ لَكَ رَبِّيٓۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ بِي حَفِيّٗا
Dijo [Abraham]: "¡Que la paz sea sobre ti! Pediré perdón por ti a mi Señor. Él ha sido generoso conmigo.

Ayah: 48

وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّي شَقِيّٗا
Me alejaré de ustedes y de cuanto invocan en vez de Dios, e imploraré a mi Señor, y espero que mis ruegos a mi Señor no sean rechazados".

Ayah: 49

فَلَمَّا ٱعۡتَزَلَهُمۡ وَمَا يَعۡبُدُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥٓ إِسۡحَٰقَ وَيَعۡقُوبَۖ وَكُلّٗا جَعَلۡنَا نَبِيّٗا
Cuando se apartó de ellos y de cuanto adoraban en vez de Dios, lo agracié con [sus hijos] Isaac y Jacob, y a ambos los designé Profetas.

Ayah: 50

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُم مِّن رَّحۡمَتِنَا وَجَعَلۡنَا لَهُمۡ لِسَانَ صِدۡقٍ عَلِيّٗا
Los agracié con Mi misericordia y que fueran recordados siempre con gran respeto.

Ayah: 51

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ مُوسَىٰٓۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ مُخۡلَصٗا وَكَانَ رَسُولٗا نَّبِيّٗا
Nárrales [oh, Mujámmad] la historia de Moisés mencionada en el Libro. Él fue elegido para ser Profeta y Mensajero.

Ayah: 52

وَنَٰدَيۡنَٰهُ مِن جَانِبِ ٱلطُّورِ ٱلۡأَيۡمَنِ وَقَرَّبۡنَٰهُ نَجِيّٗا
Lo llamé desde la ladera derecha del monte e hice que se aproximara para hablarle en forma confidencial.

Ayah: 53

وَوَهَبۡنَا لَهُۥ مِن رَّحۡمَتِنَآ أَخَاهُ هَٰرُونَ نَبِيّٗا
Hice que, por Mi misericordia, su hermano Aarón fuera también un Profeta.

Ayah: 54

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِسۡمَٰعِيلَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صَادِقَ ٱلۡوَعۡدِ وَكَانَ رَسُولٗا نَّبِيّٗا
Nárrales [oh, Mujámmad] la historia de Ismael mencionada en el Libro. Siempre cumplió su palabra, fue Profeta y Mensajero.

Ayah: 55

وَكَانَ يَأۡمُرُ أَهۡلَهُۥ بِٱلصَّلَوٰةِ وَٱلزَّكَوٰةِ وَكَانَ عِندَ رَبِّهِۦ مَرۡضِيّٗا
Invitaba a su gente a realizar la oración y dar caridad, y alcanzó la complacencia de Dios.

Ayah: 56

وَٱذۡكُرۡ فِي ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِدۡرِيسَۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقٗا نَّبِيّٗا
Nárrales la historia de Enoc que se menciona en el Libro. Fue un hombre veraz, y Profeta.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 57

وَرَفَعۡنَٰهُ مَكَانًا عَلِيًّا
Lo elevé a un lugar sublime.
Las palabras árabes makanan ‘alia مكانا عاليا pueden indicar tanto un rango honrado como un lugar elevado. Ver Génesis 5:24. Al igual que el Profeta Jesús, el Profeta Enoc también fue elevado al cielo por Dios en vida, al igual que Elías, quien fue elevado por un torbellino a los cielos en un carro. Ver 2 Reyes 2:11.

Ayah: 58

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِم مِّنَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ مِن ذُرِّيَّةِ ءَادَمَ وَمِمَّنۡ حَمَلۡنَا مَعَ نُوحٖ وَمِن ذُرِّيَّةِ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ وَمِمَّنۡ هَدَيۡنَا وَٱجۡتَبَيۡنَآۚ إِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ خَرُّواْۤ سُجَّدٗاۤ وَبُكِيّٗا۩
Ellos son a quienes Dios ha agraciado: Profetas descendientes de Adán, descendientes de los que transportamos [en el arca] con Noé, de los descendientes de Abraham y de Israel [Jacob], entre los que guie y elegí. Cuando se les recitaban los versículos del Compasivo, se prosternaban llorando conmovidos.

Ayah: 59

۞ فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ أَضَاعُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَلۡقَوۡنَ غَيًّا
Pero vinieron después de ellos generaciones que descuidaron la oración y siguieron sus pasiones, por lo que tendrán una merecida condena.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 60

إِلَّا مَن تَابَ وَءَامَنَ وَعَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا فَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ يَدۡخُلُونَ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَلَا يُظۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا
Salvo quienes se arrepintieron, creyeron y obraron rectamente. Éstos ingresarán al Paraíso y no serán oprimidos en absoluto.

Ayah: 61

جَنَّٰتِ عَدۡنٍ ٱلَّتِي وَعَدَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ عِبَادَهُۥ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ وَعۡدُهُۥ مَأۡتِيّٗا
[Entrarán] a los Jardines del Edén, prometidos por el Compasivo a Sus siervos [en las revelaciones] de lo oculto. Su promesa será cumplida.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 62

لَّا يَسۡمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغۡوًا إِلَّا سَلَٰمٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ رِزۡقُهُمۡ فِيهَا بُكۡرَةٗ وَعَشِيّٗا
No oirán frivolidades allí, sino saludos de paz, y recibirán su sustento por la mañana y por la tarde.

Ayah: 63

تِلۡكَ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ ٱلَّتِي نُورِثُ مِنۡ عِبَادِنَا مَن كَانَ تَقِيّٗا
Ése es el Paraíso que haremos heredar a quienes de Mis siervos hayan sido piadosos.

Ayah: 64

وَمَا نَتَنَزَّلُ إِلَّا بِأَمۡرِ رَبِّكَۖ لَهُۥ مَا بَيۡنَ أَيۡدِينَا وَمَا خَلۡفَنَا وَمَا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَۚ وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيّٗا
[Dice el ángel Gabriel:] "Los ángeles no descienden sino por orden de tu señor. Él conoce nuestro presente, pasado y futuro. Tu Señor nunca olvida.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 65

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبَٰدَتِهِۦۚ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهُۥ سَمِيّٗا
Es el Señor de los cielos, de la Tierra y de cuanto hay entre ambos. Adóralo y persevera en Su adoración. ¿Conoces a alguien similar a Él?"

Ayah: 66

وَيَقُولُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَءِذَا مَا مِتُّ لَسَوۡفَ أُخۡرَجُ حَيًّا
El ser humano dice: "¿Acaso luego de morir seré resucitado?"

Ayah: 67

أَوَلَا يَذۡكُرُ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنُ أَنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُ مِن قَبۡلُ وَلَمۡ يَكُ شَيۡـٔٗا
¿Acaso no recuerda el ser humano que lo creé por primera vez cuando no era nada?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 68

فَوَرَبِّكَ لَنَحۡشُرَنَّهُمۡ وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ ثُمَّ لَنُحۡضِرَنَّهُمۡ حَوۡلَ جَهَنَّمَ جِثِيّٗا
¡Por tu Señor! Los congregaré junto con los demonios [que adoraban], y he de hacerlos comparecer de rodillas alrededor del Infierno [para ser juzgados].

Ayah: 69

ثُمَّ لَنَنزِعَنَّ مِن كُلِّ شِيعَةٍ أَيُّهُمۡ أَشَدُّ عَلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عِتِيّٗا
Luego sacaré de cada comunidad a aquellos que hayan sido más insolentes con el Compasivo.

Ayah: 70

ثُمَّ لَنَحۡنُ أَعۡلَمُ بِٱلَّذِينَ هُمۡ أَوۡلَىٰ بِهَا صِلِيّٗا
Yo sé mejor que nadie quiénes son los que más merecen ser arrojados al Infierno.

Ayah: 71

وَإِن مِّنكُمۡ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَاۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتۡمٗا مَّقۡضِيّٗا
Todos ustedes lo contemplarán [al Infierno], y esa es una determinación irrevocable de tu Señor.

Ayah: 72

ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّقَواْ وَّنَذَرُ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ فِيهَا جِثِيّٗا
Luego, salvaré a los piadosos y dejaré en él a los que cometieron la injusticia [de la idolatría] de rodillas.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 73

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ءَايَٰتُنَا بَيِّنَٰتٖ قَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ أَيُّ ٱلۡفَرِيقَيۡنِ خَيۡرٞ مَّقَامٗا وَأَحۡسَنُ نَدِيّٗا
Cuando se les recitan Mis claros versículos, los que se niegan a creer dicen con arrogancia a los creyentes: "¿Quién posee de nosotros moradas más placenteras y mejores lugares de encuentro?"

Ayah: 74

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا
Pero, ¿a cuántas generaciones que les precedieron, de mayor riqueza y mejor aspecto, he destruido?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 75

قُلۡ مَن كَانَ فِي ٱلضَّلَٰلَةِ فَلۡيَمۡدُدۡ لَهُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ مَدًّاۚ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا رَأَوۡاْ مَا يُوعَدُونَ إِمَّا ٱلۡعَذَابَ وَإِمَّا ٱلسَّاعَةَ فَسَيَعۡلَمُونَ مَنۡ هُوَ شَرّٞ مَّكَانٗا وَأَضۡعَفُ جُندٗا
Diles: "A quienes se encuentren desviados, el Compasivo los dejará continuar en el desvío hasta que les acontezca lo que Dios ha deparado para ellos: su destrucción en esta vida o luego de comparecer en el Día del Juicio. Entonces sabrán quiénes se encuentran en peor situación y quién tiene el ejército más débil".

Ayah: 76

وَيَزِيدُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱهۡتَدَوۡاْ هُدٗىۗ وَٱلۡبَٰقِيَٰتُ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُ خَيۡرٌ عِندَ رَبِّكَ ثَوَابٗا وَخَيۡرٞ مَّرَدًّا
Dios encaminará a quienes siguieron la guía. Las obras que a Dios Le complacen son las que realmente perduran y las que tienen una gran recompensa.

Ayah: 77

أَفَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي كَفَرَ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا وَقَالَ لَأُوتَيَنَّ مَالٗا وَوَلَدًا
¿Acaso observas a quien no cree en Mis signos y dice: "Me serán concedidos bienes materiales e hijos [cuando sea resucitado]"?

Ayah: 78

أَطَّلَعَ ٱلۡغَيۡبَ أَمِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَهۡدٗا
¿Acaso tiene conocimiento de lo oculto o tiene un pacto con el Compasivo?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 79

كَلَّاۚ سَنَكۡتُبُ مَا يَقُولُ وَنَمُدُّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡعَذَابِ مَدّٗا
¡Claro que no! Registraré lo que dice y le prolongaré [por ello] el castigo.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 80

وَنَرِثُهُۥ مَا يَقُولُ وَيَأۡتِينَا فَرۡدٗا
Yo seré Quien herede sus bienes materiales e hijos y [el Día del Juicio] comparecerá completamente solo.

Ayah: 81

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لِّيَكُونُواْ لَهُمۡ عِزّٗا
[Los idólatras] tomaron a los ídolos como divinidades en lugar de Dios para que les dieran protección.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 82

كَلَّاۚ سَيَكۡفُرُونَ بِعِبَادَتِهِمۡ وَيَكُونُونَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ ضِدًّا
¡Pero no! [Estos ídolos] negarán que hayan sido objeto de culto y se convertirán en sus adversarios.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 83

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا ٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ تَؤُزُّهُمۡ أَزّٗا
¿Acaso no ves que he enviado demonios sobre los incrédulos para que les induzcan a cometer el mal?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 84

فَلَا تَعۡجَلۡ عَلَيۡهِمۡۖ إِنَّمَا نَعُدُّ لَهُمۡ عَدّٗا
No esperes que el castigo los azote antes de tiempo; que ya tienen sus días contados.

Ayah: 85

يَوۡمَ نَحۡشُرُ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَفۡدٗا
El día que congregue a las delegaciones de piadosos ante el Compasivo,

Ayah: 86

وَنَسُوقُ ٱلۡمُجۡرِمِينَ إِلَىٰ جَهَنَّمَ وِرۡدٗا
y conduzca a los pecadores hacia el Infierno sedientos.

Ayah: 87

لَّا يَمۡلِكُونَ ٱلشَّفَٰعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ ٱتَّخَذَ عِندَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَهۡدٗا
No tendrán quién interceda por ellos, salvo quienes hayan asumido el compromiso con el Compasivo [de creer que Él es la única divinidad con derecho a ser adorada].

Ayah: 88

وَقَالُواْ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وَلَدٗا
Dicen: "El Compasivo tuvo un hijo".

لَّقَدۡ جِئۡتُمۡ شَيۡـًٔا إِدّٗا
Han proferido algo terrible;

Ayah: 90

تَكَادُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ يَتَفَطَّرۡنَ مِنۡهُ وَتَنشَقُّ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ وَتَخِرُّ ٱلۡجِبَالُ هَدًّا
los cielos estuvieron a punto de hendirse, la Tierra de abrirse y las montañas de caer derrumbadas,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 91

أَن دَعَوۡاْ لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ وَلَدٗا
porque Le atribuyeron un hijo al Compasivo.

Ayah: 92

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لِلرَّحۡمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا
No es propio [de la grandiosidad] del Compasivo tener un hijo.

Ayah: 93

إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ إِلَّآ ءَاتِي ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ عَبۡدٗا
Todos los que habitan en los cielos y en la Tierra se presentarán sumisos ante el Compasivo.

Ayah: 94

لَّقَدۡ أَحۡصَىٰهُمۡ وَعَدَّهُمۡ عَدّٗا
Los ha enumerado y contado perfectamente.

Ayah: 95

وَكُلُّهُمۡ ءَاتِيهِ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ فَرۡدًا
Todos se presentarán solos ante Él el Día del Juicio.

Ayah: 96

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ سَيَجۡعَلُ لَهُمُ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُ وُدّٗا
El Compasivo hará que quienes hayan creído y obrado rectamente sean amados [por la gente].
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 97

فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرۡنَٰهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِۦ قَوۡمٗا لُّدّٗا
Te he facilitado [el Corán] revelándotelo [oh, Mujámmad] en tu idioma para que albricies con él a los piadosos y adviertas a tus enemigos.

Ayah: 98

وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هَلۡ تُحِسُّ مِنۡهُم مِّنۡ أَحَدٍ أَوۡ تَسۡمَعُ لَهُمۡ رِكۡزَۢا
A muchas generaciones que los precedieron las he destruido. ¿Acaso puedes ver a alguno de ellos u oír sus murmullos?
