آية: 73

وَلَا تُؤۡمِنُوٓاْ إِلَّا لِمَن تَبِعَ دِينَكُمۡ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡهُدَىٰ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰٓ أَحَدٞ مِّثۡلَ مَآ أُوتِيتُمۡ أَوۡ يُحَآجُّوكُمۡ عِندَ رَبِّكُمۡۗ قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡفَضۡلَ بِيَدِ ٱللَّهِ يُؤۡتِيهِ مَن يَشَآءُۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعٌ عَلِيمٞ

(73) “And confide only in those who follow your religion^[620] –Say ˹Muhammad˺: “˹True˺ Guidance is surely the guidance of Allah”^[621]– lest that anyone would be given the like of what you were given, or that they should use it as an argument against you in front of your Lord”^[622]. Say ˹Muhammad˺: “Grace^[623] is in the Hand of Allah, He bestows it unto whomever He wills—Allah is All-Encompassing, All-Knowing”.

[620] They took a pledge to reveal their secrets and the Truth of what their Books really say only to those who follow their way and religion.
[621] This is the reply to the Believers’ detractors: guidance is in the Hand of God, and whatever you do will be of no avail if He does not wish it to happen (al-Ṭabarī, Ibn Kathīr). This parenthetical interjection is meant to emphasize that their mischievous efforts and devious plans will be thwarted prematurely, even before they have the chance to bring them into action.
