Ayah: 1

أَلَمۡ تَرَ كَيۡفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِأَصۡحَٰبِ ٱلۡفِيلِ
በዝሆኑ ባለቤቶች ጌታህ እንዴት እንደሠራ አላወቅህምን? {1}
{1} ይህ ምእራፍ ከሃዲዎች ከዕባን ለመፍረስ በዝሆን የታጀበ ትልቅ ጦርነት አደራጅተው ሄደው እዚያ ስደርሱ አላህ የዋፎች ሰራዊት ለቆባቸው ደመሰሳቸው። ይህ ምእራፍ ስለዚህ ታርክ ያወሳል።

أَلَمۡ يَجۡعَلۡ كَيۡدَهُمۡ فِي تَضۡلِيلٖ
ተንኮላቸውን በጥፋት ውስጥ (ከንቱ) አላደረገምን? (አድርጓል)፡፡

وَأَرۡسَلَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ طَيۡرًا أَبَابِيلَ
በእነርሱም ላይ መንጎች የኾኑን ዎፎች ላከ፡፡

تَرۡمِيهِم بِحِجَارَةٖ مِّن سِجِّيلٖ
ከተጠበሰ ጭቃ በኾነ ድንጋይ የምትወረውርባቸው የኾነችን፤ (አዕዋፍ)፡፡
