Surah: Al-Muddaththir   Ayah:

Purposes of the Surah:
الأمر بالاجتهاد في دعوة المكذبين، وإنذارهم بالآخرة والقرآن.

Ayah: 1

يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمُدَّثِّرُ
يا أيها المُتَغَشِّي بثيابه (وهو النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم).
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

قُمۡ فَأَنذِرۡ
انهض فخوِّف من عذاب الله.

Ayah: 3

وَرَبَّكَ فَكَبِّرۡ
وعَظِّمْ ربك.

Ayah: 4

وَثِيَابَكَ فَطَهِّرۡ
وطهِّر نفسك من الذنوب وثيابك من النجاسات.

Ayah: 5

وَٱلرُّجۡزَ فَٱهۡجُرۡ
وابتعد عن عبادة الأوثان.

Ayah: 6

وَلَا تَمۡنُن تَسۡتَكۡثِرُ
ولا تمنن على ربك بأن تستكثر عملك الصالح.

وَلِرَبِّكَ فَٱصۡبِرۡ
واصبر لله على ما تلاقيه من الأذى.

Ayah: 8

فَإِذَا نُقِرَ فِي ٱلنَّاقُورِ
فإذا نُفِخَ في القرن النفخة الثانية.

فَذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمَئِذٖ يَوۡمٌ عَسِيرٌ
فذلك اليوم يوم شديد.

عَلَى ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ غَيۡرُ يَسِيرٖ
على الكافرين بالله وبرسله غير سهل.

ذَرۡنِي وَمَنۡ خَلَقۡتُ وَحِيدٗا
اتركني - أيها الرسول - ومن خلقته وحيدًا في بطن أمه دون مال أو ولد (وهو الوليد بن المُغِيرة).

وَجَعَلۡتُ لَهُۥ مَالٗا مَّمۡدُودٗا
وجعلت له مالًا كثيرًا.

وَبَنِينَ شُهُودٗا
وجعلت له بنين حاضرين معه ويشهدون المحافل معه لا يفارقونه لسفر لكثرة ماله.

وَمَهَّدتُّ لَهُۥ تَمۡهِيدٗا
وبسطت له في العيش والرزق والولد بسطًا.

ثُمَّ يَطۡمَعُ أَنۡ أَزِيدَ
ثم يطمع مع كفره بي أن أزيده بعد ما أعطيته من ذلك كله.

كَلَّآۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ لِأٓيَٰتِنَا عَنِيدٗا
ليس الأمر كما تصوّر، إنه كان معاندًا لآياتنا المنزلة على رسولنا مكذبًا بها.

Ayah: 17

سَأُرۡهِقُهُۥ صَعُودًا
سأكلفه مشقة من العذاب لا يستطيع تحمّلها.

Ayah: 18

إِنَّهُۥ فَكَّرَ وَقَدَّرَ
إن هذا الكافر الذي أنعمت عليه بتلك النعم فكّر فيما يقوله في القرآن لإبطاله، وقدّر ذلك في نفسه.

• المشقة تجلب التيسير.
• وجوب الطهارة من الخَبَث الظاهر والباطن.
• الإنعام على الفاجر استدراج له وليس إكرامًا.
