وَلَوۡلَآ أَن ثَبَّتۡنَٰكَ لَقَدۡ كِدتَّ تَرۡكَنُ إِلَيۡهِمۡ شَيۡـٔٗا قَلِيلًا

ولولا أن ثبَّتناك على الحق، وعصمناك عن موافقتهم، لَقاربْتَ أن تميل إليهم شيئا من الميل فيما اقترحوه عليك، لقوة خداعهم وشدة احتيالهم، ولرغبتك في هدايتهم.
