وَإِنۡ أَدۡرِي لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتۡنَةٞ لَّكُمۡ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٖ

ولست أدري لعل تأخير العذاب الذي استعجلتموه استدراج لكم وابتلاء، وأن تتمتعوا في الدنيا إلى حين; لتزدادوا كفرًا، ثم يكون أعظم لعقوبتكم.
