قُل رَّبِّ إِمَّا تُرِيَنِّي مَا يُوعَدُونَ

قل - أيها الرسول -: ربِّ إما ترينِّي في هؤلاء المشركين ما تَعِدُهم مِن عذابك فلا تهلكني بما تهلكهم به، ونجني من عذابك وسخطك، فلا تجعلني في القوم المشركين الظالمين، ولكن اجعلني ممن رضيتَ عنهم.
