Ayah: 1

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡبُرُوجِ
ذَاتِ الْبُرُوجِ: ذَاتِ المَنَازِلِ الَّتِي تَمُرُّ بِهَا الشَّمْسُ، وَالقَمَرُ.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ ٱلۡمَوۡعُودِ
وَالْيَوْمِ الْمَوْعُودِ: هُوَ: يَوْمُ القِيَامَةِ.

Ayah: 3

وَشَاهِدٖ وَمَشۡهُودٖ
وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ: أَقْسَمَ اللهُ بِكُلِّ شَاهِدٍ يَشْهَدُ، وَبِكُلِّ مَنْ يُشْهَدُ عَلَيْهِ.

Ayah: 4

قُتِلَ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡأُخۡدُودِ
قُتِلَ: لُعِنَ، وَعُذِّبَ، وَهَلَكَ.
أَصْحَابُ الْأُخْدُودِ: الَّذِينَ شَقُّوا فِي الأَرْضِ شَقًّا عَظِيمًا؛ لِإِحْرَاقِ المُؤْمِنِينَ.

Ayah: 5

ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلۡوَقُودِ
الْوَقُودِ: مَا تُشْعَلُ وَتُوقَدُ بِهِ النَّارُ.

إِذۡ هُمۡ عَلَيۡهَا قُعُودٞ

وَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفۡعَلُونَ بِٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ شُهُودٞ
شُهُودٌ: حُضُورٌ.

وَمَا نَقَمُواْ مِنۡهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلۡحَمِيدِ

ٱلَّذِي لَهُۥ مُلۡكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ شَهِيدٌ

Ayah: 10

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُواْ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَٱلۡمُؤۡمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمۡ يَتُوبُواْ فَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابُ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ
فَتَنُوا: حَرَّقُوا بِالنَّارِ.
عَذَابُ الْحَرِيقِ: العَذَابُ المُحْرِقُ.

Ayah: 11

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتٞ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلۡفَوۡزُ ٱلۡكَبِيرُ

إِنَّ بَطۡشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ
بَطْشَ: انْتِقَامَ.

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبۡدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ
يُبْدِئُ: يَخْلُقُ الخَلْقَ ابْتِدَاءً.
وَيُعِيدُ: يُحْيِيهِمْ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِمْ.

وَهُوَ ٱلۡغَفُورُ ٱلۡوَدُودُ
الْوَدُودُ: المُحِبُّ لِأَوْلِيَائِهِ، المَحْبُوبُ لَهُمْ.
