Al-‘Ādiyāt

Purposes of the Surah:
تحذير الإنسان من الجحود والطمع بتذكيره بالآخرة.
মানুষের পরিণতি সম্পর্কে সতর্ক করা ও তাদের চলার পথকে সরল রূপ দেয়ার লক্ষ্যে দুনিয়ার বিষয়গুলোকে অগ্রাধিকার প্রদানে তাদের বৈশিষ্ট্যগুলো উল্লেখ করা।

Ayah: 1

وَٱلۡعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبۡحٗا
১. আল্লাহ ওই সব অশ্বরাজির নামে শপথ করলেন যেগুলো ক্ষিপ্র গতিতে দৌড়ানোর সময় তার ঊর্ধ্বশ্বাসের শব্দ শ্রæতিগোচর হয়।

Ayah: 2

فَٱلۡمُورِيَٰتِ قَدۡحٗا
২. তিনি শপথ করলেন সেই অশ্বরাজির যেগুলো পাথরে প্রচÐ ক্ষুরাঘাতে অগ্নিস্ফুলিঙ্গ বিচ্ছুরিত করে।

فَٱلۡمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبۡحٗا
৩. তিনি শপথ করলেন সেই অশ্বরাজির যেগুলো প্রভাতকালে শত্রæর উপর আক্রমণ করে।

فَأَثَرۡنَ بِهِۦ نَقۡعٗا
৪. ফলে দৌড়ের মাধ্যমে সেগুলো ধুলি উৎক্ষিপ্ত করে।

فَوَسَطۡنَ بِهِۦ جَمۡعًا
৫. অতঃপর সেগুলোর আরোহীদেরকে নিয়ে শত্রæদলের মাঝে ঢুকে পড়ে।

• خشية الله سبب في رضاه عن عبده.
ক. আল্লাহর ভয় বান্দার উপর তাঁর সন্তুষ্টির উপায়।
• شهادة الأرض على أعمال بني آدم.
খ. পৃথিবী আদম সন্তানের আমলের উপর সাক্ষী হবে।
