Translation of the meanings Ayah: (70) Surah: Hūd
فَلَمَّا رَءَآ أَيۡدِيَهُمۡ لَا تَصِلُ إِلَيۡهِ نَكِرَهُمۡ وَأَوۡجَسَ مِنۡهُمۡ خِيفَةٗۚ قَالُواْ لَا تَخَفۡ إِنَّآ أُرۡسِلۡنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوۡمِ لُوطٖ
৭০. যখন ইব্রাহীম (আলাইহিস-সালাম) দেখলেন, তাঁদের হাত বাছুরের দিকে পৌঁচাচ্ছে না আর তাঁরা তা থেকে খাচ্ছেন না তখন ব্যাপারটি তাঁর নিকট খারাপ লাগল এবং তিনি মনে মনে ভয়কে তাঁদের থেকে গোপন রাখলেন। ফিরিশতাগণ যখন তাঁর এ অবস্থা দেখে তাঁর ভয় পাওয়া বুঝতে পারলেন তখন তাঁরা বললেন: আমাদেরকে ভয় পাবেন না; আল্লাহ আমাদেরকে লূত (আলাইহিস-সালাম) এর জাতিকে আযাব দেয়ার জন্য পাঠিয়েছেন।
