قُلۡ إِنِّيٓ أَخَافُ إِنۡ عَصَيۡتُ رَبِّي عَذَابَ يَوۡمٍ عَظِيمٖ
১৩. হে রাসূল! আপনি বলুন, আমি যদি আল্লাহর আনুগত্য না করে তাঁর অবাধ্য হই তবে আমার জন্য মহান দিনের শাস্তি তথা কিয়ামত দিবসের শাস্তির ভয় রয়েছে।

• إخلاص العبادة لله شرط في قبولها.
ক. আল্লাহর উদ্দেশ্যে ইবাদাতকে খাঁটি করা তা কবুল হওয়ার পূর্ব শর্ত।
• المعاصي من أسباب عذاب الله وغضبه.
খ. পাপাচার আল্লাহর শাস্তি ও গজবের কারণ।
• هداية التوفيق إلى الإيمان بيد الله، وليست بيد الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم.
গ. ঈমান গ্রহণের জন্য যথাযথ পথ প্রদর্শনের অধিকার আল্লাহর হাতে ন্যস্ত। যা রাসূল (সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম) এর বা অন্য কারো হাতে নয়।
