Ayah: 107

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَانَتۡ لَهُمۡ جَنَّٰتُ ٱلۡفِرۡدَوۡسِ نُزُلًا
নিশ্চয় যারা ঈমান এনেছে এবং সৎকাজ করেছে তাদের আতিথিয়েতার জন্য রয়েছে জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউস [১]।
[১] فردوس এর অর্থ সবুজে ঘেরা উদ্যান। এটি আরবী শব্দ, না অনারব এ বিষয়ে মতভেদ রয়েছে। হাদীসে রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেন, “তোমরা যখন আল্লাহর কাছে প্রার্থনা কর, তখন জান্নাতুল ফিরদাউসের প্রার্থনা কর। কেননা এটা জান্নাতের সর্বোৎকৃষ্ট স্তর। এর উপরেই আল্লাহর আরশ এবং এখান থেকেই জান্নাতের সব নাহর প্রবাহিত হয়েছে।' [বুখারী ২৭৯০, ৭৪২৩, মুসনাদে আহমাদ ২/৩৩৫]
