Ayah: 84

إِنَّا مَكَّنَّا لَهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَءَاتَيۡنَٰهُ مِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٖ سَبَبٗا
আমরা তো তাকে যমীনে কর্তৃত্ব দিয়েছিলাম এবং প্রত্যেক বিষয়ের উপায়-উপকরণ দান করেছিলাম [১]।
[১] আরবী অভিধানে سبب শব্দের অর্থ এমন বস্তু বোঝায়, যা দ্বারা লক্ষ্য অর্জনে সাহায্য নেয়া হয়। [ফাতহুল কাদীর] উদ্দেশ্য এই যে, আল্লাহ তা’আলা যুলকারনাইনকে দেশ বিজয়েরই জন্য সে যুগে যেসব বিষয় প্রয়োজনীয় ছিল, তা সবই দান করেছিলেন।
