Translation of the meanings Ayah: (38) Surah: Al-Furqān
وَعَادٗا وَثَمُودَاْ وَأَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلرَّسِّ وَقُرُونَۢا بَيۡنَ ذَٰلِكَ كَثِيرٗا
আর আমরা ধ্বংস করেছিলাম ‘আদ, সামূদ, ‘রাস্’ [১] -এর অধিবাসীকে এবং তাদের অন্তর্বর্তীকালের বহু প্ৰজন্মকেও৷
[১] وَاَصْحٰبَ الرَّسِّ অভিধানে رَسّ শব্দের অর্থ কাঁচা কুপ। তারা ছিল সামূদ গোত্রের অবশিষ্ট জনসমষ্টি এবং তারা কোনো একটি কুপের ধারে বাস করত। [দেখুন-আদওয়াউল বায়ান, বাগভী]
