Translation of the meanings Ayah: (146) Surah: As-Sāffāt
وَأَنۢبَتۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ شَجَرَةٗ مِّن يَقۡطِينٖ
[১] ইয়াকতীন আরবী ভাষায় এমন ধরনের গাছকে বলা হয় যা কোনো গুঁড়ির ওপর দাঁড়িয়ে থাকে না বরং লতার মতো ছড়িয়ে যেতে থাকে। যেমন লাউ, তরমুজ, শশা ইত্যাদি। মোটকথা, সেখানে অলৌকিকভাবে এমন একটি লতাবিশিষ্ট বা লতানো গাছ উৎপন্ন করা হয়েছিল যার পাতাগুলো ইউনুসকে ছায়া দিচ্ছিল এবং ফলগুলো একই সংগে তার জন্য খাদ্য সরবরাহ করছিল এবং পানিরও যোগান দিচ্ছিল। [দেখুন, তাবারী]
