Ayah: 42

ٱرۡكُضۡ بِرِجۡلِكَۖ هَٰذَا مُغۡتَسَلُۢ بَارِدٞ وَشَرَابٞ
(আমি তাকে বললাম) ‘আপনি আপনার পা দ্বারা ভূমিতে আঘাত করুন, এই তো গোসলের সুশীতল পানি ও পানীয় [১]।
[১] অর্থাৎ আল্লাহর হুকুমে মাটিতে পায়ের আঘাত করতেই একটি পানির ঝরণা প্রবাহিত হলো। এর পানি পান করা এবং এ পানিতে গোসল করা ছিল আইয়ূবের জন্য তার রোগের চিকিৎসা। সম্ভবত আইয়ুব কোনো কঠিন চর্মরোগে আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলেন। [দেখুন, মুয়াসসার, কুরতুবী]
