Ayah: 49

وَمِن كُلِّ شَيۡءٍ خَلَقۡنَا زَوۡجَيۡنِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَذَكَّرُونَ
আর প্রত্যেক বস্তু আমরা সৃষ্টি করেছি জোড়ায় জোড়ায় [১], যাতে তোমরা উপদেশ গ্ৰহণ কর।
[১] অর্থাৎ জোড়ায় জোড়ায় সৃজনের নীতির ভিত্তিতে পৃথিবীর সমস্ত বস্তু সৃষ্টি করা হয়েছে। প্রতিটি উদ্ভিদ ও প্রাণীর সৃষ্টিতে আমরা পুরুষ ও নারী জোড়া জোড়া হিসেবে দেখতে পাই। অনুরূপভাবে প্রতিটি বস্তুরই বিপরীত দিক রয়েছে। যেমন, রাত-দিন, জল-স্থল, সাদা-কালো, আসমান-যমীন, কুফরী-ঈমান, সৌভাগ্য-দুর্ভাগ্য ইত্যাদি। [দেখুন, কুরতুবী]
