Ayah: 26

قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا قَبۡلُ فِيٓ أَهۡلِنَا مُشۡفِقِينَ
তারা বলবে, নিশ্চয় আগে আমরা পরিবার-পরিজনের মধ্যে শংকিত অবস্থায় ছিলাম [১]।
[১] অর্থাৎ আমরা দুনিয়ায় বিলাসিতায় ডুবে এবং আপন ভূবনে মগ্ন থেকে গাফলতির জীবন যাপন করিনি। সেখানে সবসময়ই আমাদের আশংকা থাকতো যে, কখন যেন আমাদের দ্বারা এমন কোনো কাজ হয়ে যায়, যে কারণে আল্লাহ আমাদের পাকড়াও করবেন। [দেখুন, ফাতহুল কাদীর]
