Translation of the meanings Ayah: (33) Surah: Al-Wāqi‘ah
لَّا مَقۡطُوعَةٖ وَلَا مَمۡنُوعَةٖ
[১] দুনিয়ার সাধারণ ফলের অবস্থা এই যে, মওসুম শেষ হয়ে গেলে ফলও শেষ হয়ে যায়। কোনো ফল গ্ৰীষ্মকালে হয় এবং মওসুম শেষ হয়ে গেলে নিঃশেষ হয়ে যায়। আবার কোনো ফল শীতকালে হয় এবং শীতকাল শেষ হয়ে গেলে ফলের নাম-নিশানাও অবশিষ্ট থাকে না। কিন্তু জান্নাতের প্রত্যেক ফল চিরস্থায়ী হবে- কোনো মওসুমের মধ্যে সীমিত থাকবে না। এমনিভাবে দুনিয়াতে বাগানের পাহারাদাররা ফল ছিড়তে নিষেধ করে কিন্তু জান্নাতের ফল ছিড়তে কোনো বাধা থাকবে না। [ইবন কাসীর; বাগভী; কুরতুবী]
