Translation of the meanings Ayah: (14) Surah: ‘Abasa
مَّرۡفُوعَةٖ مُّطَهَّرَةِۭ
[১] مكرمة অর্থ সম্মানিত, মর্যাদাসম্পন্ন। مرفوعة বলে এর মর্যাদা অনেক উচ্চ তা বোঝানো হয়েছে। [ইবন কাসীর] আর مطهرة বলে বোঝানো হয়েছে হাসান বসরীর মতে, যাবতীয় নাপাক থেকে পবিত্র। সুদ্দী বলেন, এর অর্থ কাফেররা এটা পাওয়ার অধিকারী নয়। তাদের হাত থেকে পবিত্র। হাসান থেকে অপর বর্ণনায় বলা হয়েছে, এর অর্থ মুশরিকদের উপর নাযিল হওয়া থেকে পবিত্র। [কুরতুবী] ইবন কাসীর বলেন, এর অর্থ এটি বাড়তি-কমতি ও অপবিত্রতা থেকে পবিত্র ও মুক্ত।
