Ayah: 2

وُجُوهٞ يَوۡمَئِذٍ خَٰشِعَةٌ
সেদিন অনেক চেহারা হবে অবনত [১] ,
[১] কেয়ামতে মুমিন ও কাফের আলাদা আলাদা বিভক্ত দু‘দল হবে এবং মুখমণ্ডল দ্বারা পৃথকভাবে পরিচিত হবে। এই আয়াতে কাফেরদের মুখমণ্ডলের এক অবস্থা এই বর্ণিত হয়েছে যে, তা خاشعة অর্থাৎ হেয় হবে। خشوع শব্দের অর্থ নত হওয়া ও লাঞ্ছিত হওয়া। [ইবন কাসীর]
