Translation of the meanings Ayah: (93) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَإِذۡ أَخَذۡنَا مِيثَٰقَكُمۡ وَرَفَعۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمُ ٱلطُّورَ خُذُواْ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٖ وَٱسۡمَعُواْۖ قَالُواْ سَمِعۡنَا وَعَصَيۡنَا وَأُشۡرِبُواْ فِي قُلُوبِهِمُ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ بِكُفۡرِهِمۡۚ قُلۡ بِئۡسَمَا يَأۡمُرُكُم بِهِۦٓ إِيمَٰنُكُمۡ إِن كُنتُم مُّؤۡمِنِينَ
I kada smo od vas vaš zavjet primili, i brdo iznad vas podigli: "Ozbiljno prihvatite ono što vam dajemo i budite poslušni!" – oni su odgovorili: "Čujemo, ali poslušati nećemo!" – srca njihova su, zbog nevjerovanja njihova, još bila nadojena teletom. Reci: "Ružno je to na što vas vjerovanje vaše navodi, ako ste uopće vjernici."
