Ayah: 164

وَإِذۡ قَالَتۡ أُمَّةٞ مِّنۡهُمۡ لِمَ تَعِظُونَ قَوۡمًا ٱللَّهُ مُهۡلِكُهُمۡ أَوۡ مُعَذِّبُهُمۡ عَذَابٗا شَدِيدٗاۖ قَالُواْ مَعۡذِرَةً إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَلَعَلَّهُمۡ يَتَّقُونَ
A kad neki od njih rekoše: "Zašto opominjete narod koji će Allah uništiti ili ga teškim mukama namučiti?" – oni odgovoriše: "Da bismo se pred Gospodarom vašim opravdali i da bi se oni grijeha klonili."
