Ayah: 114

وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ
A što je Ibrahim tražio oprosta za svoga oca bilo je samo zbog obećanja koje mu je dao. A čim mu je bilo jasno da je on Allahov neprijatelj, on ga se odrekao. Ibrahim je doista bio pun sažaljenja i obazriv.
