Ayah: 48

فَمَا تَنفَعُهُمۡ شَفَٰعَةُ ٱلشَّٰفِعِينَ
Njima posredovanje posrednika neće koristiti.

Ayah: 49

فَمَا لَهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلتَّذۡكِرَةِ مُعۡرِضِينَ
Pa zašto se oni okreću od opomene?

كَأَنَّهُمۡ حُمُرٞ مُّسۡتَنفِرَةٞ
Kao da su divlji magarci preplašeni

فَرَّتۡ مِن قَسۡوَرَةِۭ
pobjegli od lavova!

بَلۡ يُرِيدُ كُلُّ ٱمۡرِيٕٖ مِّنۡهُمۡ أَن يُؤۡتَىٰ صُحُفٗا مُّنَشَّرَةٗ
Naprotiv, svaki bi čovjek među njima htio da mu se daju listovi rašireni.

كَلَّاۖ بَل لَّا يَخَافُونَ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةَ
Nikada, jer oni se ahireta ne plaše!

كَلَّآ إِنَّهُۥ تَذۡكِرَةٞ
Uistinu! Kur'an je opomena,

وَمَا يَذۡكُرُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُۚ هُوَ أَهۡلُ ٱلتَّقۡوَىٰ وَأَهۡلُ ٱلۡمَغۡفِرَةِ
a na umu će ga imati samo ako Allah bude htio, On je jedini dostojan da Ga se boje i dostojan je da oprašta.
