Translation of the meanings Ayah: (114) Surah: At-Tawbah
وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ
A što je Ibrahim tražio oprost za svoga oca, bilo je to samo zbog obećanja koje mu je dao. A čim mu je bilo jasno da je on Allahov neprijatelj, on ga se odrekao. Ibrahim je, doista, mnogo Allaha molio i obazriv bio.
