Translation of the meanings Ayah: (54) Surah: Al-Baqarah
وَإِذۡ قَالَ مُوسَىٰ لِقَوۡمِهِۦ يَٰقَوۡمِ إِنَّكُمۡ ظَلَمۡتُمۡ أَنفُسَكُم بِٱتِّخَاذِكُمُ ٱلۡعِجۡلَ فَتُوبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ بَارِئِكُمۡ فَٱقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ ذَٰلِكُمۡ خَيۡرٞ لَّكُمۡ عِندَ بَارِئِكُمۡ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡكُمۡۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ
54. Moses said to his people: "My people, you have done wrong to yourselves by worshipping the calf. So repent to your Creator and slay yourselves (i.e., the guilty ones among you), that is best for you with your Creator (Allah)". Then He accepted your repentance, for He is the All-Forgiving and Accepter of repentance, the Merciful.
