Translation of the meanings Ayah: (39) Surah: Al-‘Ankabūt
وَقَٰرُونَ وَفِرۡعَوۡنَ وَهَٰمَٰنَۖ وَلَقَدۡ جَآءَهُم مُّوسَىٰ بِٱلۡبَيِّنَٰتِ فَٱسۡتَكۡبَرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا كَانُواْ سَٰبِقِينَ
39. (We also destroyed) Korah, Pharaoh and Haman; and certainly Moses came to them with clear Signs, but they were puffed-up with pride in the land¹⁵, yet they could not escape (Allah’s Chastisement).
15. Your pride can bring you down. Humility will bring you honor.
