Translation of the meanings Ayah: (20) Surah: Al-Ahzāb
يَحۡسَبُونَ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابَ لَمۡ يَذۡهَبُواْۖ وَإِن يَأۡتِ ٱلۡأَحۡزَابُ يَوَدُّواْ لَوۡ أَنَّهُم بَادُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَعۡرَابِ يَسۡـَٔلُونَ عَنۡ أَنۢبَآئِكُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ كَانُواْ فِيكُم مَّا قَٰتَلُوٓاْ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا
20. They think the confederate forces have not yet gone⁹. If the confederate tribes should come (again) they (the hypocrites) would wish they were in the deserts (wandering) among the bedouins, asking for news about you. If they were among you they would not fight except a little.
9. In their excessive fear the cowardly hypocrites could not believe the enemy forces had been defeated.
