Translation of the meanings Ayah: (5) Surah: Al-Jāthiyah
وَٱخۡتِلَٰفِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن رِّزۡقٖ فَأَحۡيَا بِهِ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ بَعۡدَ مَوۡتِهَا وَتَصۡرِيفِ ٱلرِّيَٰحِ ءَايَٰتٞ لِّقَوۡمٖ يَعۡقِلُونَ
5. (In) the alternation of the night and day, and (in) what Allah sends down of provision from the sky (the rain) to revive the barren earth after its death, and (in His) directing of the winds², are evidences for a people who reason.
2. I.e., sometimes towards the east or north, and sometimes towards the south or west, sometimes bringing glad tidings of rain etc., and sometimes bringing the torment.
