Translation of the meanings Ayah: (4) Surah: Al-Mujādalah
فَمَن لَّمۡ يَجِدۡ فَصِيَامُ شَهۡرَيۡنِ مُتَتَابِعَيۡنِ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَتَمَآسَّاۖ فَمَن لَّمۡ يَسۡتَطِعۡ فَإِطۡعَامُ سِتِّينَ مِسۡكِينٗاۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِتُؤۡمِنُواْ بِٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦۚ وَتِلۡكَ حُدُودُ ٱللَّهِۗ وَلِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ
4. If one cannot find (a slave to set free), he must fast for two months successively before they touch each other⁶. If one is not able (to fast), he must feed sixty destitute people. This is to affirm that you have complete faith in Allah and His messenger. These are Allah’s Laws and set limits. And for the deniers there is a painful Torment.
6. i.e., have carnal relations
