Translation of the meanings Ayah: (2) Surah: At-Talāq
2. When their waiting period is about to end, keep them or separate from them lawfully. Let two just men from among you witness 'either way'2, and give upright testimony for Allāh. Thus he who believes in Allāh and the Last Day is admonished. Whoever fears Allāh and keeps His Commandments, He will make for him a way out (of every difficulty),
2. A single witness shall not suffice against a person for any incident, crime, or for any wrong in connection with any offense that is committed. Only on the evidence of two witnesses or of four witnesses with regards of adultery and fornication shall a charge be established. In some cases single witness with taking an oath may be accepted. If a malicious witness arises to accuse a person of wrongdoing, then both parties to the dispute shall appear before the judges who are in office. The judges shall inquire diligently, and if the witness is a false witness and has accused his brother falsely, then you shall punish him for his false testimony. But he who fears Allāh, He will grant a way out of every difficult.
