Translation of the meanings Ayah: (48) Surah: Al-‘Ankabūt

Ayah: 48

وَمَا كُنتَ تَتۡلُواْ مِن قَبۡلِهِۦ مِن كِتَٰبٖ وَلَا تَخُطُّهُۥ بِيَمِينِكَۖ إِذٗا لَّٱرۡتَابَ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ
Ô Messager, tu ne lisais aucun livre avant de recevoir la révélation du Coran et tu n’écrivais rien de ta main droite car tu es illettré, ne sachant ni lire ni écrire. Si tu savais lire et écrire, les ignorants auraient eu des doutes concernant ta prophétie et avanceraient comme prétexte que tu copies les livres anciens.

• مجادلة أهل الكتاب تكون بالتي هي أحسن.
La discussion avec les Gens du Livre doit se faire de la meilleure des façons.
• الإيمان بجميع الرسل والكتب دون تفريق شرط لصحة الإيمان.
Croire en tous les messagers et tous les livres sans faire de distinction est un critère de validité de la foi.
• القرآن الكريم الآية الخالدة والحجة الدائمة على صدق النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Le Noble Coran est le miracle éternel et la preuve permanente de la véracité du Prophète.
