Translation of the meanings Ayah: (36) Surah: Ash-Shūra

Ayah: 36

فَمَآ أُوتِيتُم مِّن شَيۡءٖ فَمَتَٰعُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ وَمَا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ خَيۡرٞ وَأَبۡقَىٰ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَلَىٰ رَبِّهِمۡ يَتَوَكَّلُونَ
Ô gens, la richesse, le prestige et la progéniture que l’on vous donne ne sont que des jouissances éphémères de cette vie ici-bas, tandis que les délices éternels sont ceux du Paradis qu’Allah réserve à ceux qui croient en Lui et en Ses messagers et ne s’en remettent qu’à leur Seigneur dans toutes leurs affaires.

• الصبر والشكر سببان للتوفيق للاعتبار بآيات الله.
La patience et la gratitude sont deux causes qui facilitent de tirer des enseignements des signes d’Allah.
• مكانة الشورى في الإسلام عظيمة.
La concertation jouit d’un prestige considérable dans l’Islam.
• جواز مؤاخذة الظالم بمثل ظلمه، والعفو خير من ذلك.
Il est permis de répondre de manière proportionnelle à l’offense d’un individu injuste, mais il est préférable de pardonner.
