Translation of the meanings Ayah: (37) Surah: Ash-Shūra

Ayah: 37

وَٱلَّذِينَ يَجۡتَنِبُونَ كَبَٰٓئِرَ ٱلۡإِثۡمِ وَٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ وَإِذَا مَا غَضِبُواْ هُمۡ يَغۡفِرُونَ
Ceux qui s’abstiennent des péchés les plus graves et les plus hideux et lorsqu’ils sont en colère contre ceux qui les offensent par la parole et les actes, pardonnent leurs fautes et ne les punissent pas. Ce pardon est une faveur de leur part, si sa conséquence est louable et est bénéfique.

• الصبر والشكر سببان للتوفيق للاعتبار بآيات الله.
La patience et la gratitude sont deux causes qui facilitent de tirer des enseignements des signes d’Allah.
• مكانة الشورى في الإسلام عظيمة.
La concertation jouit d’un prestige considérable dans l’Islam.
• جواز مؤاخذة الظالم بمثل ظلمه، والعفو خير من ذلك.
Il est permis de répondre de manière proportionnelle à l’offense d’un individu injuste, mais il est préférable de pardonner.
