Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Ma‘ārij   Ayah:

Al Mâ'ârij

Purposes of the Surah:
بيان حال وجزاء الخلق يوم القيامة.
Elle confirme que le châtiment s’abattra sur les mécréants et que ceux qui croient au Jour de la Rétribution jouiront de délices.

Ayah: 1

سَأَلَ سَآئِلُۢ بِعَذَابٖ وَاقِعٖ
Un polythéiste parmi d’autres réclama, pour se moquer, un châtiment pour lui-même et pour les siens, croyant qu'il n'aura pas lieu. Or ce châtiment aura bel et bien lieu le Jour de la Résurrection.

Ayah: 2

لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لَيۡسَ لَهُۥ دَافِعٞ
Ce sont ceux qui mécroient en Allah qui le subiront et personne ne saurait le repousser d’eux.

Ayah: 3

مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ ذِي ٱلۡمَعَارِجِ
Ce châtiment proviendra d’Allah, le Détenteur de la hauteur, des degrés, des faveurs et des bienfaits.

Ayah: 4

تَعۡرُجُ ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ إِلَيۡهِ فِي يَوۡمٖ كَانَ مِقۡدَارُهُۥ خَمۡسِينَ أَلۡفَ سَنَةٖ
Les anges, dont l’Ange Gabriel, monteront vers Lui par ces degrés le Jour de la Résurrection, dont la durée équivaut à cinquante mille ans.

Ayah: 5

فَٱصۡبِرۡ صَبۡرٗا جَمِيلًا
Ô Messager, sois donc patient sans fléchir ni te plaindre.

إِنَّهُمۡ يَرَوۡنَهُۥ بَعِيدٗا
Ils voient ce châtiment loin et impossible,

Ayah: 7

وَنَرَىٰهُ قَرِيبٗا
tandis que Nous le voyons proche et inéluctable.

يَوۡمَ تَكُونُ ٱلسَّمَآءُ كَٱلۡمُهۡلِ
Il aura lieu le Jour où le Ciel sera semblable à du cuivre, de l’or ou à un autre métal en fusion

وَتَكُونُ ٱلۡجِبَالُ كَٱلۡعِهۡنِ
et que les montagnes seront aussi légères que de la laine.

وَلَا يَسۡـَٔلُ حَمِيمٌ حَمِيمٗا
Ce Jour-là, personne ne s’enquerra de ses proches car chacun sera préoccupé par son propre sort.

Benefits of the verses in this page:
• تنزيه القرآن عن الشعر والكهانة.
Il est exclu que le Coran soit de la poésie ou de la divination.
• خطر التَّقَوُّل على الله والافتراء عليه سبحانه.
Il est très grave d’inventer des paroles que l’on attribue à Allah, exalté soit-Il.
• الصبر الجميل الذي يحتسب فيه الأجر من الله ولا يُشكى لغيره.
La belle patience est celle avec laquelle on attend d’être rétribué par Allah et avec laquelle on ne se plaint à personne d’autre que Lui.
